Your Futuco Palbook allows you to connect external displays to enhance your workspace and productivity. Here’s how you can connect and configure external monitors or projectors:
HDMI
- Connect the HDMI Cable: Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on your Palbook and the other end into the HDMI port of the external display (monitor, TV, or projector).
- Automatic Detection: Your Palbook should automatically detect the external display and extend or duplicate your screen. If it doesn't, follow the steps below to manually configure the display settings.
Configure Display Settings:
- Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
- Under Multiple displays, select how you want the display to work:
- Duplicate: Show the same content on both screens.
- Extend: Use the external display as an extension of your Palbook’s screen, providing more workspace.
- Second screen only: Use only the external display and turn off the Palbook’s screen.
Adjust the resolution and orientation as needed.
USB Type-C (Power and Data)
- Connect the USB Type-C Cable: If your external display supports USB Type-C for video output, connect the USB Type-C cable to the USB Type-C (Power and Data) port on your Palbook.
- Connect to the Display: Plug the other end of the cable into the external display.
- Automatic Detection and Configuration: Your Palbook should automatically detect the external display. If not, follow the steps below to manually configure the display settings.
Display Settings
- Accessing Display Settings: Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
- Multiple Displays: Under Multiple displays, choose the desired display mode (Duplicate, Extend, or Second screen only). You can also click on Detect if your Palbook doesn't automatically recognize the external display.
- Rearranging Displays: In the display settings window, you can drag and drop the display icons to match the physical arrangement of your screens. This helps the cursor move smoothly between screens.
- Resolution and Scaling: Adjust the resolution and scaling to ensure the best visual quality for your external display.
Presentation Mode
Activate Presentation Mode:
- Press Windows Key + P to open the Project menu.
- Select the desired display mode (Duplicate, Extend, Second screen only, or PC screen only).
By following these steps, you can easily connect and configure external displays to expand your workspace, enhance presentations, or enjoy media on a larger screen.
