Connecting Power

  1. Unbox Your Palbook: Carefully remove your Palbook and Power Adapter from the box.
  2. Connect the Power Adapter: Plug the 65W USB-C Power Adapter into the USB Type-C Power Adapter port on your Palbook. Ensure the cable is securely attached to the adapter and the power outlet.
  3. Power LED Indicator: When connected, a Power LED Indicator light next to the Power Adapter port on your Palbook will illuminate.

 

Powering On

  1. Locate the Power Button: The power button is located on the top right of the keyboard.
  2. Press the Power Button: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. You will then see the Power ON LED Indicator illuminate blue, followed by the Futuco logo that will appear on the screen.
  3. Boot Sequence: Your Palbook will begin the boot sequence and load the Windows 11 operating system.

 

Windows 11 Setup Basics*

  1. Welcome Screen: Upon first boot, you will be greeted with the Windows 11 welcome screen.
  2. Language, Region, and Keyboard Layout: Select your preferred language, region, and keyboard layout, then click "Next."
  3. License Agreement: Read the Microsoft Software License Agreement, then click "Accept" to proceed.
  4. Network Connection: Connect to a Wi-Fi network by selecting your network from the list and entering the password. If you prefer, you can skip this step and connect to the internet later.
  5. Sign In with Microsoft Account: You will be prompted to sign in with your Microsoft account. If you don’t have one, you can create a new account or choose to sign in with a local account.
  6. Personalize Your Device: Follow the prompts to personalize your Palbook, including setting up a username, creating a password, and choosing a device name.
  7. Privacy Settings: Review and adjust your privacy settings according to your preferences. You can customize settings such as location services, diagnostics, and tailored experiences.
  8. OneDrive Setup: You will be prompted to set up OneDrive for cloud storage. You can choose to back up your files to OneDrive or skip this step.
  9. Finalizing Setup: Windows 11 will finalize your setup, which may take a few minutes. Once completed, you will be directed to the Windows 11 desktop.
  10. Windows Update: It is recommended to check for Windows updates by navigating to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and installing any available updates to ensure your system is up to date.
